For two decades, Unique Lighting & Home Decor has worked alongside Southwest Montana nonprofits, contractors, and families to bring thoughtful lighting solutions into homes and community spaces. Giving back isn’t something we schedule, it’s part of who we are.
As the Copper Capital of the World, Butte has always been defined by grit, community, and neighbors helping neighbors. We carry that legacy forward by supporting the organizations that strengthen Southwest Montana. Our partnerships go beyond fixture donations, we contribute to youth fundraising efforts, financial donations, sponsorships, and long-term collaboration to nonprofits making a measurable difference in our region.
Southwest Montana isn’t just where we do business…
…it’s who we serve.
Our partnerships reflect the full spectrum of community betterment — from housing stability to youth arts, athletic programs, and family-driven initiatives. We contribute because local life here deserves investment, recognition, and support. Our giving is rooted in longevity, relationships, and shared purpose across Southwest Montana.
Our community giving focuses on:
- In-kind lighting donations for housing and community facilities
- Consultation support for nonprofit building and remodel projects
- Event and Team Sponsorships for local programs
- Showing up consistently for organizations improving lives in Southwest Montana
Organizations We’ve Lit Along the Way
Every organization we support serves a human outcome: safer shelter, stronger families, creative expression, personal confidence, mobility, dignity, stability, and opportunity. Our role is to amplify their work through consistent support, visibility, and partnership within the community we share.
- National Affordable Housing Network
- The National Affordable Housing Network was founded as a non-profit organization in 1994. Our mission is to help develop and transfer high performance affordable housing techniques that benefit those in need.
- In the years since, the Network has done grass roots technology transfer through its detailed house plans and technical assistance. With a focus on those wanting to build their own homes.
- Self help housing is a means by which individuals and households can make a permanent move toward sustainable living by building their own award winning passive solar, superinsulated homes. Homes that are ready for the net-zero energy goals of tomorrow. There is a need for advanced energy performance and conservation. The Network’s two decades of field experience proves the case that these technologies are ready NOW for immediate implementation.
- Habitat for Humanity of Southwest Montana
- Habitat for Humanity’s mission is to build strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter. To achieve this, families and individuals partner with Habitat to build or improve a place they can call home. No matter who we are or where we come from, we all deserve to have a decent life. We deserve to feel strength and stability day after day. Everyone deserves to know we have the power to take care of ourselves and build our own futures. At Habitat for Humanity, this is what unites us. Through shelter, we empower. Our shared vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Because you, me, we — we’re all humans. And every single one of us deserves the opportunity for a better future. Habitat is founded on Christian principles that seeks to put God’s love into action by building homes, communities and hope. Habitat for Humanity of Southwest Montana is your local effort of a global, nonprofit housing organization.
- We cover Butte-Silver Bow, Jefferson, Beaverhead, Madison, Powell, and Deer Lodge Counties in Southwest Montana. Habitat is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally through constructing, rehabilitating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions. We were founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a simple, durable place to live in dignity and safety, and that decent shelter in decent communities should be a matter of conscience and action for all. Habitat for Humanity will not proselytize nor work with entities or individuals who insist on proselytizing as part of their work with Habitat. This means that we will not offer assistance on the expressed or implied condition that people must adhere to or convert to a particular faith or listen and respond to messaging designed to induce conversion to a particular faith.
- Friends of Dynamic Dance and Tumbling Academy
- The Friends of Dynamic Dance and Tumbling Academy supports Dynamic Dance & Tumbling Academy — a beloved Butte-area nonprofit dedicated to nurturing growth, confidence, and artistic expression in children and young adults through dance and tumbling education. What began as a community-centered performance arts program has become a vibrant hub where students of all ages develop technique, discipline, self-confidence, and teamwork in a positive, caring environment. The academy’s mission is to provide high-quality instruction that emphasizes personal growth, respect, responsibility, and artistic excellence while making the performing arts accessible to families throughout Southwest Montana. Through community events, showcases, and performance opportunities, Friends of Dynamic Dance and Tumbling Academy helps extend this impact beyond the studio enriching lives, supporting youth development, and strengthening the cultural fabric of the region.
- Anaconda Ensemble Theatre
- Our mission at Anaconda Ensemble Theatre is to create culture for the community by empowering artists to engage and challenge audiences. We envision an artistic home comprised of people of all artistic backgrounds who, through their creativity, will connect and create a conversation with our community.
